When Les Vorhies made his first knife in 1994 it was still a hobby. He has been making knives professionally since 2005. He mainly focuses on constructing tactical knives, mostly using modern steels and handle materials. Les Vorhies has become known for balisongs and flippers, which he equips with the IKBS.
